In the limestone alps the water sometimes washed out basins - which is immediatelly occupied by the botanic. But few water only allows flat greens; nevertheless these plants are blooming beautiful when wet.

Please report any bugs found in this picture . It would be helpful for me to advance my photographic cognition.

Btw: this guy blocked the way to my daily feeder.

This is an image i took some days ago. It was inspired by Pam’s image.
It was an experiment with my macro-lens in the garden.
So there is nothing more to say about the photo - just enjoy it .

This beast tried to drill for goodies; it seems that it forgot to be a butterfly (and acted like one of those damned mosquitos)…

Fully laden honey bee is tireless working and collecting pollen.

It is a natural vent surge tank for water. And if you have to fight for survival - with patience - I’m sure you can satisfy your thirst.

Now I have some macros for you again . I tried my new 430EX in “macro mode”. And these are the results.

This are some flower macros I shoot last weekend on a hiking tour at the “Schluchtenweg (gorge trail)” in Opponitz in Lower-Austria (Niederösterreich).
