pure energy - ISO 100, 38mm, 30s, F4.0, tripod mountedI shot this lightning bolt last weekend from the window of my flat. I like the detailed secondary bolts. I hope you’ll also enjoy this image.

    ok … this is the first post after our crash - i hope the pic recovers you from the long offline time.

    i hope Klemens will fix the IE problem and the thumbnail problem ASAP.

    hehe, did that lightning strike your webserver, was that the cause? ;-) in my opinion, this is one of the best pictures so far! how did you manage to capture that bolt? pure luck or some additional hardware?

    first of all thanks for the flowers :)
    no i didn’t use any additional hardware - but to say it was pure luck is also not really correct … :)
    the only luck was that a so beautiful bolt strikes down exact in the cameras view …
