the iron waves

Waves

As I promised you I have another image from the nightly Linz tour I did with Klemens a few days ago. The new photo shows a sculpture at the waterside of the Danube in Linz.

Towards the sun

There is a second image I want to share with you today. It is one of my first macros I did. Don’t ask me about the name of the flower (perhaps someone can give me a hint …), but it was taken on the Sonntagberg hill - also in the vicinity of Waidhofen an der Ybbs - at a wonderful winter day.

I improved some things around this site:

  • I have added a image-authentication to the comment form. All non registred users have to enter the number shown in the image to prevent comment spam.
  • I have added a RSS and ATom feature to the site - so you’ll always be informed well.
  • The last thing I have added is a calibration bar at the bottom of the page. If your monitor is configured well you should be able to distinguish between each of the gray squares.

stop the water

Stop

This is one of my very first attempts to high speed imaging. This picture was taken with a shutter speed of 1/4000s. I like this image because of the “icy” look of the water. It was a just for fun shot on a small hiking tour around Waidhofen.

lentos - museum of arts

BridgeReflectionsInfinityGlow

Yesterday Klemens and I went into the city of Linz to take some photos of buildings which maybe are interesting. Now this is what we can present to you in the first time. The images in particular are showing the Lentos museum of arts here in Linz. The building is capable of changing its color from red to blue. This is a really funny “building-feature”.

We hope you will enjoy these pictures.
